Arrive on time or early for class, dressed appropriately (see dress code) with hair up and out of the face, and ready to dance.
-
You will be invited into the classroom at your appointed class time.

-
Please respect your fellow students; including their personal space, when they are talking, and when they are dancing.
-
Please respect your teacher by not talking when she is talking, participating fully in class, and doing the movement as given. The teacher gives movement during class that teaches certain principles and builds your technique. There will be due time for improvisation later.
-
Students are encouraged to ask questions and share ideas. Please raise your hand to get the teacher’s attention.
-
Classroom discipline will be a “time out” if the teacher deems it necessary.
-
For students 10 and up: If a student’s behavior becomes too disruptive the teacher will, if necessary, excuse a student from the classroom and have them wait in the family waiting room until class is over.
